Sam grew up in Gloucester, Virginia. She spent eighteen dedicated years as an emergency room Registered Nurse until a bizarre, hyper-realistic dream shifted her timeline, and she set out to write her debut novel. She watched her wild imagination and sharp humor come to life on the page. She currently lives in Cape Coral, Florida, with her husband Jim and their beloved bearded dragon, Iggy.
Amelia was born in California. After studying at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), she married her college sweetheart and began writing and editing professionally. Bringing structural mastery, lyrical pacing, and deep character psychology to the series, she now lives near picturesque Lake Geneva with her husband and their four children.
